Going to great heights for Special Olympics

April 13, 2016

When it comes to his commitment to Special Olympics Montana, Kreg Jones goes above and beyond.

As a long-time supporter of Special Olympics Montana, D.A. Davidson has contributed sponsorships, donations, and hundreds of volunteer hours over the years. And, it seems, D.A. Davidson volunteers will do just about anything to raise money for the venerable charity. Recently, Communications Director Jacquie Burchard and D.A. Davidson Senior Vice President Kreg Jones took to Montana’s tallest building―the 20-story First Interstate Center in Billings―and rappelled down its side; their reward for fundraising and support of Special Olympics Montana.

“Serving Special Olympics of Montana is certainly one of the most inspiring and humbling experiences I’ve ever had,” said Kreg. “To see the joy and excitement that the athletes and their families experience is tremendously rewarding and it inspires you to attempt to do exactly what they are: striving to realize their full potential in the face of sometimes difficult odds, while always practicing the basic tenants of sportsmanship and fellowship. It’s incredible.” Kreg is also a board member for Special Olympics Montana.
