Opening of new Blacksburg office solidifies firm’s presence and commitment to the Mid-Atlantic region
D.A. Davidson & Co. today announced the opening of a new wealth management office in Blacksburg, Virginia, welcoming a three-person team of professionals with extensive financial services experience.
The opening of the Blacksburg location is the fifth new office in the state since April 2021 as the firm continues to act on its growth initiative. Additional Virginia offices include Bedford, Charlottesville, Harrisonburg and Lynchburg.

Creamer Wealth Management, Advisor with D.A. Davidson & Co., was previously affiliated with Truist. The group includes:
- Mike Creamer, CFA, Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager. Creamer has been in the industry for 13 years and has earned the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation. He graduated from Virginia Tech.
- Martha Thomas, Registered Client Associate. Thomas has been in the industry for 29 years and graduated from Radford University. She has been working with Creamer for 13 years.
- Heidi Hawes, Registered Client Associate. Hawes joined the financial industry in 2019 and graduated from Virginia Tech.
The new branch is temporarily located at 107 Church Street NE in Blacksburg.
