Investment Banking Professional Promoted to Oversee Capital Markets Team
D.A. Davidson & Co., a full-service investment firm with operations nationwide, today announced that Monte Giese has been named President of its Equity Capital Markets Group. Giese will oversee a growing business unit that offers investment banking, institutional research, equity sales and trading, brokered CD underwriting and corporate services.

Giese has served as Co-Head of Investment Banking for D.A. Davidson since 2014, and that business has nearly doubled in size since then. He joined D.A. Davidson in 1995 and was one of the firm’s most productive investment bankers before joining its banking leadership team. A graduate of Harvard University, he also has prior experience working with investment bank Alex, Brown & Sons.
