Dan Froehlich is a Senior Vice President in the Public Finance Group and has worked in public finance since 2005. He is involved in the development, execution and structuring of both tax-exempt and taxable debt financings for colleges and universities, independent schools and other nonprofit organizations. He has structured numerous public bond sales and private debt placements on behalf of his clients and has worked with dozens of borrowers to determine their debt financing strategies. Dan is also responsible for compiling and preparing credit and debt capacity analysis reports, which are used by borrowers in the course of their strategic planning. Since 2005, he has completed 92 financings with a total par amount of $2.13 billion for his clients.
Dan’s most recent speaking engagements include the Philadelphia Area Independent Schools Business Officers Association and the New York State Association of Independent Schools, where he addressed “Debt Financing for Independent Schools.”
Dan previously served for seven years with the City of New York’s Department of Parks & Recreation, most recently as the Deputy Chief of Operations. He holds an MBA from New York University and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania. Dan attended an independent school for high school and graduated from Germantown Academy in Fort Washington, PA.
