Liquidity, safety, and competitive yields for cash holdings with the security of FDIC insurance
Through the BIDP, eligible cash deposits will be eligible for up to $4 million in deposit insurance from the FDIC*, which greatly exceeds the maximum FDIC- insurable amount outside of the program. FDIC-insured investments are designed to remove the market and credit risks associated with money funds and direct short-term investments.
BIDP enables investors to access funds at their discretion.
As each bank can have a maximum of $250,000 in cash deposits, many investors resort to holding their assets with multiple banks. The BIDP program provides both security and convenience, facilitating the consolidation of large deposit balances.
Investors have the ability to earn better interest rates on higher balances.
*This amount may vary depending on the number of banks participating in the program.
**Regardless of the value of household assets, all D.A. Davidson advisory accounts will receive the highest interest rate then offered by D.A. Davidson in the BIDP.
***The APY (Annual Percentage Yield) measures the total amount of interest paid on an account based on simple interest rate calculated daily and compounded and credited on a monthly basis. Note: D.A. Davidson reserves the right to change its asset tiers and interest rates at any time without notice.
Rates above effective 1/26/2018.
