D.A. Davidson & Co., the largest full-service investment firm headquartered in the Northwest, today announced that Daphne Martin has joined the firm as branch manager in Encino.
Martin joins the firm to oversee and supervise a long-established office in Encino comprised of nine financial advisors and several other staff professionals. She is responsible for management of day-to-day operations and for helping to ensure that branch professionals follow the strict regulatory guidelines of the securities industry.
The branch is one of 11 D.A. Davidson offices in Southern California that offer wealth planning and other investment services and products for individual investors, families, businesses and nonprofit organizations, with the goal of developing strategies that help investors reach their financial goals.
Martin, whose new title is vice president, financial advisor and branch manager, brings strong professional experience to her new role. For the past 12 years, she has pursued a career in branch management and most recently served as assistant complex director for UBS Financial Services in Century City, where she led and worked closely with 100 financial advisors while also serving her own clients. She previously served as a complex administrative manager, overseeing a staff of over 50, after working in a similar position with in Beverly Hills. She holds an MBA from St. Edward’s University and earned a bachelor’s degree in government from the University of Texas.
