Longtime Executive Promoted Within Growing Financial Services Company
D.A. Davidson Companies, an employee-owned financial services firm, today announced that Larry Martinez has been named President effective October 1. In this role, Martinez will report to Jim Kerr, D.A. Davidson's Chief Executive Officer, and assume additional oversight of the firm’s human capital, operations and information technology functions.

Martinez has been a member of D.A. Davidson’s senior management team for more than 14 years and has demonstrated significant leadership experience across the company’s legal, compliance, audit and facilities areas. Prior to joining D.A. Davidson, he served in the Corporate Practice Group of international law firm Dorsey & Whitney LLP. He earned his law degree from Stanford Law School and a bachelor’s degree in politics from Princeton University.
