D.A. Davidson & Co. announced today that Brit Stephens has been named the firm’s Head of Sales, Trading and Capital Markets.
Brit brings over two decades of experience and leadership in the capital markets business, which will be critical as we continue to grow our business.

Stephens’ promotion is part of a long-term strategy to continue strengthening the Equity Capital Markets group. His focus includes enhancing the delivery of D.A. Davidson’s research, as well as adding to the products and services provided to the firm’s institutional and corporate clients.
Stephens joined D.A. Davidson’s Equity Capital Markets team in 2012 as a Managing Director, heading the firm’s equity origination and execution efforts. He previously served in capital markets leadership positions with Morgan Keegan, Wachovia Capital Markets and Raymond James. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and history from Vanderbilt University.
