American Bancorporation, Inc., based in Sapulpa, Oklahoma, has acquired Tulsa, Oklahoma-based Peoples State Bancshares, Inc. and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Peoples Bank. American Bancorporation’s wholly-owned subsidiary, American Heritage Bank, was founded in 1905 and is one of the oldest banks in the Tulsa area. Pro forma American Bancorporation will have $1.2 billion in assets and 24 branch locations.
