Oklahoma City, Oklahoma-based BancFirst Corporation (NASDAQ: BANF) and Dallas, Texas-based Pegasus Bank announced the signing of a definitive agreement whereby BancFirst Corporation will acquire Pegasus Bank. The transaction marks BancFirst’s first expansion outside of Oklahoma and adds Dallas, a high-growth metro area, into BancFirst’s footprint. This is the 117th publicly announced advisory transaction for the D.A. Davidson & Co. Financial Institutions Group since 2011.
