D.A. Davidson Companies has named Bryan Schneider, Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor and Portfolio Manager, as the 2019 recipient of the Bragg Lewis Knutson Community Service Award. Given in recognition of outstanding volunteer efforts, the award is the highest honor bestowed upon a D.A. Davidson associate.
Schneider, who works in D.A. Davidson’s Omaha office, has demonstrated a deep commitment to nonprofit causes over a number of years. Highlights include his work with the Omaha Community Foundation, which he has helped for the past seven years by serving in key roles on the Professional Advisors Committee, the Grow Philanthropy Committee and the Finance and Investment committees. Schneider also serves on the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands’ Board of Directors, is a member of the finance committee and chairs their retirement plan committee. Additionally, he is the co-founder of the annual Nonprofit Summit of the Midlands.
Schneider, who joined D.A. Davidson in 2016, received the Bragg Lewis Knutson award during D.A. Davidson’s recent shareholders’ meeting. The honor recognizes one employee annually who demonstrates an exceptional commitment to volunteer work, and is named for three D.A. Davidson executives who were active in community and professional service.
