Ride-sharing company Uber is founded on a more complex business model than its main rival, Lyft, which also means Uber faces more potential landmines. Institutional Research Analyst Tom White, who cover the companies for D.A. Davidson, said Uber investors are expecting the company to show a clear path toward profitability in the near future.
