Grubhub’s surprise decision to combine with a Netherlands-based food delivery company seems to be a good strategic move for both, analysts say. The deal with Just Eat Takeway.com makes sense because it combines two best-in-class operators, according to Tom Forte, Institutional Research Analyst for D.A. Davidson. Although the merger will not be without challenges, Forte is among analysts who believe the combination will improve both companies.
