Apple is expected to unveil a phone with 5G capabilities this week in a much-anticipated move that eventually could help users benefit from faster and greater bandwidth. But will anyone notice the technical upgrade right away when networks aren’t keeping pace? Tom Forte, the Institutional Research Analyst who covers Apple, said that while the new phone may contain high-quality capabilities, many consumers may not notice much of a difference until their phone networks are upgraded and expanded to accommodate 5G.
