With the leaders of major technology companies testifying before Congress this week about consumer-generated content, investors may be wondering how much risk the companies face in terms of potential antitrust actions. Tom Forte, the D.A. Davidson Institutional Research Analyst who covers Amazon and tracks the regulatory landscape for technology giants, said Congress is looking to police user-generated content on Facebook, Twitter and Google — ultimately increasing those companies’ costs.
