Opening of new Lynchburg office emphasizes firm’s commitment to growth in the Mid-Atlantic region
D.A. Davidson & Co. today announced the opening of a new wealth management office in Lynchburg, Virginia, welcoming a two-person team of professionals with extensive financial services experience.
Carter Investment Planning, a service of D.A. Davidson & Co., was previously affiliated with Truist.

The group includes:
- Randall Carter, AAMS®, CRPC®, Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor. Carter has been in the industry for over eight years and has earned the Accredited Asset Management SpecialistSM and Charted Retirement Planning CounselorSM certifications. He graduated from Radford University.
- Chelsea Hanson, Registered Client Associate. Hanson joined the financial industry in retail banking in 2012 and transitioned to wealth and brokerage in 2018. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Liberty University.
The new branch is temporarily located at 725 Church Street, Suite 102, in Lynchburg.
