Approximately 1,500 D.A. Davidson Companies associates across the country will have the opportunity to serve as volunteers this month for the firm’s D.A. Davidson Day. At a company known for its focus on social responsibility and philanthropy, the company-wide event represents a key component in a robust group of initiatives that benefit nonprofit organizations.
“Supporting the communities in which we live and work is one of our core values and an integral part of our company culture,” said Larry Martinez, CEO of D.A. Davidson Companies. “D.A. Davidson Day provides an opportunity for us to join together and demonstrate the strength of giving throughout the many communities we serve.”
D.A. Davidson Day is scheduled for Sept. 12-16 in locations across the United States.
The nonprofit groups that will benefit from D.A. Davidson Day were nominated and selected by local D.A. Davidson associates. They represent a mix of organizations that include homeless shelters, food banks, senior services organizations, animal shelters, youth-focused organizations, and groups providing housing for low-income families, among others.
“As we all know, there is much need, and our efforts truly make a meaningful impact,” Martinez said. “I look forward to rolling up my sleeves and volunteering to make a difference.”
