Approximately 1,620 D.A. Davidson Companies associates across the country will have the opportunity to serve as volunteers this month for the firm’s D.A. Davidson Day. At a company known for its focus on social responsibility and philanthropy, the company-wide event represents a key component in a robust group of initiatives that benefit nonprofit organizations.
“It’s a rewarding experience to get together with colleagues and offices to support the communities in which we live and work, one of our core values and an integral part of our company culture,” said Larry Martinez, CEO of D.A. Davidson Companies.
D.A. Davidson Day is scheduled for Sept. 18-22 in locations across the United States.
The nonprofit groups that will benefit from D.A. Davidson Day were nominated and selected by local D.A. Davidson associates. They represent a mix of organizations that include homeless shelters, food banks, senior services organizations, animal shelters, youth-focused organizations, and groups providing housing for low-income families, among others.
“As a meaningful event, D.A. Davidson Day is something that our professionals look forward to each year,” Martinez said.
This year, the many volunteers of D.A. Davidson Day will again be easy to identify. Each person has been given a green D.A. Davidson t-shirt showing the firm’s logo and “volunteer”—a symbolic reminder of the caring aspect of their service.
