New office marks firm’s fourth location in the state
D.A. Davidson & Co. announced today the opening of a wealth management office in Wilmington, North Carolina, welcoming a team of eight professionals to the firm. The professionals, who were previously affiliated with Truist, bring extensive financial services experience to the firm’s footprint in the Carolinas and collectively oversee $1 billion AUM.

The Wilmington office becomes the fourth in the state of North Carolina, along with Charlotte, Greensboro and Winston-Salem, all of which opened last year.
The group will be known as the Vestal Financial Group, Financial Advisors with D.A. Davidson & Co., and includes:
- Andy Vestal, Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager. Vestal has 30 years of experience in the financial services industry, including work as a CPA and senior trust administrator. He holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA from East Carolina University, as well as the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Certified Exit Planning Advisor® designations.
- Matt Bryant, CFP®, Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager. Bryant has been in the financial services industry since 2005 and with the Vestal Financial Group since 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in finance and banking from Appalachian State University and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional.
