Laci Knowles is a Managing Director in D.A. Davidson & Co.’s Public Finance Special District Group. She works with clients to structure deals at all phases of the development cycle, ranging from non-rated transactions in the early phases of development to investment grade rated financings and refinancings in the later phases of the development cycle. Laci has extensive experience with debt obligations secured by complex revenue streams, including revenues generated through tax increment financing, tax and revenue sharing arrangements between special districts and local governments, and various other financing mechanisms unique to development. Once a deal structure has been determined, Laci works closely with the financing team and oversees transactions to successful closings.

Prior to joining D.A. Davidson & Co., Laci practiced as a public finance attorney in Colorado, serving as disclosure counsel both to issuers and underwriters and specializing in securities due diligence and disclosure in connection with special district financings. She has also served as bond counsel to a variety of issuers, including special districts, in numerous financings involving both tax-exempt and taxable debt obligations.

Laci holds a J.D. from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law, a master's degree from the University of Denver’s Korbel School for International Studies, and a bachelor's degree from the University of Arkansas.
